Help develop an Early Childhood Education and Care Workforce Plan for Ararat Rural City!
The Ararat Rural City has been selected to be one of the first local government areas to transition from 15 hours of kindergarten to up to 30 hours of Pre-Prep for all 4 year olds from 2025. This initiative is part of the Victorian Government's Best Start, Best Life reforms.
To assist the Ararat Rural City to prepare for the roll out of Pre-Prep, the Department of Education have provided support to the Council to develop an Early Childhood Education and Care Workforce Plan.
This survey has been developed to measure the level of interest in the Ararat Rural City's community to study and work in this sector. This information will help us to assess and identify possible initiatives to meet the future workforce needs in this sector.
The survey can be completed anonymously and is estimated to take 5-10 minutes. The survey responses will be summarised into the Council's Early Childhood Education and Care Workforce Plan report.
This survey is for people who do not currently work in the early childhood education and care sector. If you currently work in this sector, please contact your employer to receive the link for the 'Workforce Planning Survey for Early Childhood Education Sector Workers'.
If you have any questions or wish to contact the Ararat Rural City Council about this survey, please contact Phuong Au, Strategic Project Lead, via email at [email protected]
