Gordon Street Recreation Reserve transformation

Gordon St Recreation Reserve redevelopment project is being developed by Ararat Rural City Council and the Australian Government in partnership with the Victorian Government

In consultation with local sporting clubs, AFL Victoria and Football Victoria, the project delivers a new shared use pavilion plus playing fields and surfaces that will unlock opportunities for AFL Women’s, Football (Soccer), Cricket and Little Athletics.

Gordon Street will become regional Victoria’s home of AFLW creating a centre of excellence developing pathways for women and girls onto careers in league football.
